3745556 - Mark Obsolete action has no effect in new version of Concur Posting Documents Monitor app - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

In the Concur Posting Documents Monitor Fiori app, using the Mark Obsolete action on invalid posting documents results in no change.

The document status remains Failed even after attempting to mark the documents as obsolete. No explicit error or warning message is displayed during this process.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Concur Posting Documents Monitor application.
  2. Select invalid/failed posting documents.
  3. Click "Set to Obsolete".
  4. Observe that no changes occur and the status remains Failed.

Cause

A defect in the application logic of the new version of the Concur Posting Documents Monitor app prevents the document status from being updated when documents are set to Obsolete.

Resolution

This issue is planned to be fixed in the upcoming release.

As a workaround, use the old version of the Concur Posting Documents Monitor app to mark the affected posting documents as Obsolete, as the old version processes the status change correctly.
