Resolution
Please see steps for enabling the Chage Audit outlined in the Help Portal - Enabling Change Audit
Step: 1: Create Personal Data Report to create an audit report
- Go to Admin Center Change Audit Reports.
- Select Create Personal Data Report to create an audit report on changes to personal data across the HCM suite, for data protection and privacy.
- Click on Person Search
- Click on Change On Subject User
- Select Users:
- Modules: Administration:
- Functional Areas: user management, user Account management
- Time Range ( Note: Configure the time range you want to report on, up to a maximum of 31 days):
- You can always check job status and download completed reports by going to Change Audit Reports Access Reports.
- Please note that change audit data for some selected functional areas may be incomplete when the date range includes any of the last 32 hours.
- Change Audit data generated in the first day is only available after 8 am the next day in UTC. Depending on the time when the Change Audit data is generated, it’s only available in 8 to 32 hours.
In SAP SuccessFactors Change Audit logs, the Operation Performed values usually mean:
- D = Delete
- I = Insert (new record created)
- U = Update (existing record changed)
- COR = Correction (data correction/change made to an existing record)
These codes are used in audit/history tables to track what type of action occurred on an employee or configuration record.
