Symptom

In Job Information history/edit, for the Leave of Absence (LOA) start and end record the following fields are editable in Latest People Profile Edit

  • effective start date
  • event reason
  • event

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In Configure Latest People Profile > General Settings > Enable "Enable the latest editing and history UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile"
  2. Navigate to Job Information of employee (who has applied for Leave of Absence in Time Off)
  3. In Job Information history/edit, for the Leave of Absence (LOA) start and end records the following fields are editable in Latest People Profile Edit
    • effective start date
    • event reason
    • event
  4. In Legacy People Profile (PP3), these fields were not editable

    Cause

    This is a known issue.

    Resolution

    The issue will be fixed via patch PTCH-49808 (1H2026p4) which is scheduled for 12th May 2026 in Preview instances.
