3745728 - Unable to Input Posting Date in Goods Issue Reversal API for Outbound Delivery Order - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Users are unable to input the Posting Date in the Goods Issue Reversal API for Outbound Delivery Orders. When using the POST /whseoutbounddeliveryorderhead/{ewmoutbounddeliveryorder}/sap__self.reversegoodsissue API in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the Posting Date cannot be specified, causing the request to fail or use a default date.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access the SAP S/4HANA Cloud environment.

2. Attempt to reverse a Goods Issue for an Outbound Delivery Order using the API POST /whseoutbounddeliveryorderhead/{ewmoutbounddeliveryorder}/sap__self.reversegoodsissue.

3. Try to input the Posting Date in the API request.

4. Observe that the Posting Date cannot be specified, and the request is either rejected or uses a default date.

The Goods Issue Reversal API for Outbound Delivery Orders does not currently support the manual input of a Posting Date in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

This limitation is due to the way the API is designed, which does not allow for the explicit input of the posting date during reversal transactions. The system automatically assigns the posting date based on the current system date or another predefined logic. 

The API for GI reversal currently does not provide a field to enter the posting date; this functionality is not available in the system.

Currently, the Posting Date cannot be specified when performing a Goods Issue Reversal via the API in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
