3745817 - Error updating Pronouns from Manage My Data in Latest Home Page

Symptom

  • Change my pronoun fails with an application error in quick action.
  • Error updating the pronouns from manage my data on the latest home page experience but works from the latest people profile.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance
  2. On the home page, go to manage my data
  3. Select change pronouns
  4. Choose an option
  5. Click save
  6. Error message: There was an application error.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

Workaround

For users who have an inactive manager, please update the manager to NO_MANAGER using Basic Import. After updating the manager information, the pronouns can then be modified from the manage my data.
