3745840 - Field "From Step" and "To Step" not Editable in Configuration Pricing Strategy

The field "From Step"/ "To Step" is not editable in the Configuration Pricing Strategy.

Attempted to change the step of "XYZ" From Step AAA to Step BBB but the field is not editable (XYZ represents the Name Of Pricing Component; AAA and BBB represents the Step number)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Search for "Pricing".
3. Select "Configuration Pricing Strategy" and click "Change Immediately".
4. Select "Pricing Procedure".
5. Try to change on step the value in field "From Step" / "To Step" from AAA to BBB.

Attempting to edit the standard Pricing Procedure where the 'From Step' and 'To Step' fields and the step numbers are not editable.

1. "From Step" and "To Step" in the fine-tuning activity Configure Price Strategy in the Business Configuration are the basis for the calculation of prices in SAP Business ByDesign.
   The values in the fields Steps, From Steps and To Steps are hard coded in the pricing engine and cannot be changed.
2. This is expected system behavior of SAP Business Bydesign.
3. Price components can only be renamed and this does not change the standard procedure.
