3745852 - Alternative Cost Distribution card visible to Employees without permissions - 1H2026

Symptom

Alternative Cost Distribution card is visible for employee when viewing profile even if there is no permission granted for it after 1H2026 release.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login or Proxy as user that has no permission to Alternative Cost Distribution.
  2. Go to Job Data category
  3. User is able to see Alternative Cost Distribution card on Latest People Profile.

Resolution

Engineering have confirmed that this defect has been patched and issue should not occur anymore. 

The issue is reproducible only for target users who do not have any Alternative Cost Distribution(ACD) data. Logged-in users can only see an empty card for such target users, they will not be able to add/edit. So do not worry that there is no data security issue.
