3745867 - DMEE File Does Not Populate FPAYH-STCD1 Field During Payment Run – S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• During payment file generation using DMEE (Data Medium Exchange Engine), the field FPAYH-STCD1 (Tax Number 1) is not populated in the output file.
• The issue occurs even though the tax number is correctly maintained in the business partner master data.
• The corresponding DMEE node remains empty in the generated payment medium file.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Map Format Data for Payment Medium app.
2. Create the field/node.
3. Insert the table-field link.
4. No data retrieved.
5. Maintain a tax number (STCD1) in the Business Partner master data.
6. Execute a payment run using the Payment Medium Workbench.
   Generate the payment file based on a DMEE tree.
7. Check the file generated.
8. Observe that the field corresponding to FPAYH-STCD1 is empty.

The structure isn't activated or Released.

The field FPAYH-STCD1 is not automatically populated during the payment run because it is not part of the standard data transfer from Business Partner master data into the payment structures.

Additionally, the DMEE tree may not be correctly mapped to a source structure that provides the tax number, or the relevant node mapping is missing or incorrectly configured.

1. Activate the structure used for the payment medium format in the system.
2. Run the process again; the FPAYH-STCD1 value will be populated in the DMEE file as designed.
