3746043 - Employee Time Sheet object missing in Document Template Mapping

As of 1H 2026 release, it supports custom workflow email notification template for time off, time sheet, and single record approval as documented in Setting Up Email Notifications and WNV Enhancements to Time Off and Time Sheet Custom Workflow Notifications .

But it is noticed, you are missing Employee Time Sheet object when mapping the document template placeholders. 

Similar situation may also happen for other object types, like Time Recording, when you attempt to map your placeholder in the document template.

This is because of missing RBP permission to the standard MDF objects of Employee Time Sheet, Employee Time, Time Recording etc respectively, for the user that is doing the document template setting up.

If Employee Time Sheet object is missing in the drop down list for Direct mapping, then the permission to Employee Time Sheet object is missing.
If Employee Time object is missing in the drop down list for Direct mapping, then the permission to Employee Time object is missing.
If Time Recording object is missing in the drop down list for Direct mapping, then the permission to Time Recording object is missing.

Please ensure at least View permission to the corresponding object. 

Once the at least view permission is given to Employee Time Sheet object, it will show up in drop down list for Direct mapping.
