• New Hire Activities/Onboarding Tasks are not being triggered or created on the onboarding dashboard
• Exception message exists for Onboarding2UserTasksCreation event in BPE monitor
• Backend/log error message: "The Recommended Link Title field exceeds the length of 128 characters."

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

• The Recommended Link Title (Link Label) configured in the Recommended Link task exceeds the maximum length of 128 characters, which causes task creation to fail during Onboarding2UserTasksCreation.

1. Go to Manage Onboarding and Offboarding Tasks.
2. Open the affected onboarding program.
3. Open the Recommended Link task.
4. Review each link’s Link Label (Recommended Link Title) and shorten them to 128 characters or fewer.
5. Save the changes.
6. Restart onboarding for the affected new hire so tasks can be generated with the corrected configuration.
7. Alternatively, go to Manage Process Tasks, locate the failed Onboarding2UserTasksCreation for the process instance, and select Result & Restart Task after the configuration is corrected.
