• After the 1H 2026 release, users are unable to delete values in the National field using the backspace key on the keyboard from profile. The entered value remains unchanged even when attempting to remove it via backspace. 
• Using the Backspace key does not remove characters, preventing correction or removal of entered values.
• This is happening for all the disaplay format having "space" or "-" etc ,Not for display format like "NNNNNNN" OR AANNNNAA without any space or hyphen etc.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to user profile :AAA.
2. Click on pencil icon on National ID information Or try to add new national id.
3. Example select the country :united kingdom and Card type :National Insurance Number (NINO).
4. Add national Id "NP 16 43 32 D".
5. once entered try to delete the national id with backspace from keyboard, It will delete only "D".
6. Pressing backspace again does not remove additional characters.
7. To delete further characters, the user must manually press the left arrow key and then use backspace.
8. This behavior repeats for each segment, meaning users must navigate left for every space-separated block to delete the value.

• This issue will be fixed in the 2H 2026 release.
• Workaround : You can either select the entire value(ctrl+A) and delete it, or use the left arrow key to move the cursor and then press backspace.
