3746221 - Workflow Approval Error on Home Page Post 1H 2026

Symptom

As the approver, attempt to approve the workflow on the homepage card, page loads with error: "Something went wrong"

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 1H 2026

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Trigger a workflow for approval
  2. As approver, attempt to quick approve on the homepage card
  3. Notice error is presented.

Resolution

Engineering team has fixed the issue and it will be patched on 5th May 2026 in preview instance. This issue will not occur in production instance.

Workaround

Click the workflow card to enter Manage Workflow Details and approve the request within the workflow page.
