Symptom
When attempting to access the Manage Provisioning Access tool, the following error message is displayed:
"Access Denied! You are lacking of the permission to view this page."
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Cause
As of the 2H 2025 release, an additional security layer has been introduced for the Manage Provisioning Access tool. Super Administrators are now required to have the 'Manage Provisioning Access' permission explicitly granted through the Manage Super Admin Access tool.
Super Administrators created prior to the 2H 2025 release are not automatically assigned this permission and must have it granted manually. Those accounts will have the icon ⚠️ displayed in the Admin Type column.
Resolution
- Navigate to the Manage Super Admin Access tool.
- Search for the Super Admin account to which access needs to be granted.
- Any Super Admin displaying a ⚠️icon has an incomplete access configuration, indicating the account was created before the 2H 2025 release.
- Click the pencil icon to edit the account's access settings.
- A blue information banner will be displayed at the bottom of the popup, with the following message:
- When you save, the system grants all Super Admin access to this user.
- Click the Save button.
This will refresh the permissions and grant the 'Manage Provisioning Access' to the super admin, and remove the ⚠️icon displayed for that profile.
