3746416 - Inconsistent Candidate Visibility on Onboarding Coordinator Dashboard for Users with Identical Permissions– Onboarding

Symptom

Candidate visibility on the Onboarding Coordinator Dashboard is inconsistent, as users with identical roles and permissions may see the candidate while others do not, despite the candidate being visible on other onboarding dashboards.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Proxy as the affected Onboarding Coordinator user.
  2. Navigate to the Onboarding Dashboard and look for the reported candidate.
  3. Observe that the candidate is not visible for this user, while it is visible for another Onboarding Coordinator with the same permissions.

Cause

The issue is caused by location-based permission restrictions, where the candidate is associated with a specific legal entity/location and access is controlled through a location-specific permission group for Onboarding Coordinators; the affected user is not included in the permission group assigned to that candidate, resulting in missing visibility on the onboarding coordinator dashboard.

Resolution

  1. Identify the permission group that grants Onboarding Coordinator access for the candidate’s legal entity/location.
  2. Review the current membership of the permission group and confirm which users are included.
  3. Add the affected users who require access to candidates from that legal entity/location into the permission group.
  4. Save the changes.
  5. Perform an OData Refresh to ensure updates are reflected in the system.
