3746419 - Copy & pasting URL function not working in Latest Workbench

Symptom

When Users copy the Browser URL when highlighting all Candidates in a paricular status of a Job Req, using the Latest Workbench view, and paste the URL into a new tab, the page returns the full list of applicants in the Job Req.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to a Job Requisition with a list of active applicants on it.
  2. Switch to the Legacy Workbench view
  3. Highlight a status where 2+ applicants are contained
  4. Copy the Browser URL & paste it into a new tab
  5. The new tab opens with the same view as the original tab.
  6. When you switch to the Latest Workbench & carry out the same replication steps
  7. The new tab page returns all the Candidates in the Requisition, not just the highlighted ones in the status that you copied the URL from.

Cause

This has been confirmed by product management to be expected behaviour of the Latest Workbench view.

Resolution
