3746441 - Employee Status is not a filter option for Mass Data Management

Symptom

  • In the Mass Data Management of Job Relationships there is not an option to add Employee Status as a filter.
  • How to filter by Inactive or Active employees?

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. On Manage Data > Mass Changes Job Configuration
  2. Or in Mass Management Data > Create a Mass Change
  3. There is no option to add Employee Status as a filter, to pull only active or inactive employees.

Cause

This is working as per current system design.

Resolution

  • The empStatus field is not configurable in data model hence it is not possible to use this as a filter in the Mass Changes Job Configuration.
  • Mass Data Management shows both Active and Inactive employees.
  • There is currently no standard functionality to filter only by Active or Inactive employees on Mass Data Management tool
