3746498 - Cloud Integration iFlow fails with StacklessClosedChannelException error

Symptom

In SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), the integration flow fails during an outbound HTTP call with the following error:

  • io.netty.channel.StacklessClosedChannelException

Additional errors may be observed in connected components:

Cloud Connector logs:

  • HTTP/1.0 413 Payload Too Large
  • TooLongHttpLineException: An HTTP line is larger than 8192 bytes

It is often observed that smaller payloads are processed successfully and larger payloads fail consistently.
