Symptom

Below error occurs during the migration step using the migration object "Routing" in the Migrate Your Data app. 

An exception with the type CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB was raised, but was not handled locally or declared in a RAISING clause (Message No. DMC_RT_MSG   0).

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the 'Migrate Your Data' app.
  2. Navigate to the migration project.
  3. Select the 'Routing' migration object.
  4. Perform the migration step.

Cause

This issue arises because a large SQL statement is generated during the execution of the BAPI 'BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE'.

Resolution

Reduce the amount of sub-data in sheet 'Material Task List Assignment'.
