3746614 - BEx Web: ABEND RSBOLAP(000) in CL_RSBOLAP_BICS_STATE_CONV when running bw query via portal - bex web java runtime

Symptom

  • Error when running BW report on Portal: "Termination message sent ABEND RSBOLAP (000): Program error in class CL_RSBOLAP_BICS_STATE_CONV ..." 
  • In default trace the following error messages can be found:
    ABEND: Program error in method of class CL_RSBOLAP_BICS_STATE_CONV
    ABEND: Program error in method of class SAPMSSY1: UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
    ABEND: System error in program SAPLRRS2 and form SELOPT_ASSIGN-01- 
  • Issue happens intermittently.
  • The query may or may not work in RSRT (BICS mode).
