3746733 - universe-based model import fails after bi 2025 upgrade with "query script generation failed" (fwm 01014, fwm 20030) – sap analytics cloud

Symptom

  • After upgrading the BI platform from 4.3 SP04 to BI 2025 patch 700, models based on universes fail in import data workflows.
  • The issue occurs only for specific universes.
  • The below error appears in the Catalina logs:
    "Query script generation failed. See your BusinessObjects administrator. Unable to find servers in cluster with kind connectionserver and service connectionserver. All such servers could be down or disabled by the administrator. (FWM 01014) (00013)"
  • When checking the Communication analyzer run on the Cloud Agent system, the connection server is running without issues.
