In the Redesigned Applicant Workbench, display options retrieve field labels and values from the Candidate Profile instead of the Job Application.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Define the same field in both the Job Application template and the Candidate Profile template.
2. Configure the field as displayable in Manage Data > Recruiting User Personalization Object Configuration.
3. After a candidate submits an application, update the field value in the Job Application.
4. Open the Redesigned Applicant Workbench and observe that the display options retrieve the field label and value from the Candidate Profile, rather than from the Job Application.

For the field label:

This behavior is expected. When the same field is defined in both the Candidate Profile template and the Job Application template, the data type and label configured in the Candidate Profile template take precedence in the Redesigned Applicant Workbench.

For the field value:

This is a known issue where the Redesigned Applicant Workbench displays the field value from the Candidate Profile (snapshot) instead of the Job Application, even when the Job Application value is updated.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed with a patch. The patch schedule is currently under review. The target patch is [1H 2026 P4] on May 12.

• Post the fix, Display Options in the Redesigned Applicant Workbench will retrieve field values from the Job Application.
• The field label will continue to be retrieved from the Candidate Profile template. This is a limitation.
