Symptom

A custom Onboarding MDF object is not appearing in Story Reports while similar custom objects are available.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Story Reports and access Query Designer.
  2. Search for the custom MDF object in the list of available tables.
  3. Observe that the object is not available.

Cause

The custom Onboarding MDF object was not associated in ONB2DataCollectionUserConfig. This prevented the object from being exposed to Story Reports.

Resolution

  1. Go to Configure Object Definitions;
  2. Open the ONB2DataCollectionUserConfig object;
  3. Associate the custom object;
  4. Save your changes;
  5. Object will be displayed correctly in story report
