3747071 - Materials exist but do not appear in "Stock - Single Material" and "Stock - Multiple Materials" when using language settings other than the default - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The stock is displayed properly only when the system language of the user can be matched to the language of the product description. It leads to errors when the selected system language is not available in the product description.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open "Display Material" app;
2. Enter a test material (For example BK_MATERIAL);
3. Note the product descriptions in "Additional Data" (For example Deutsch and English).
   
4. Open "Stock - Single Material" app;
5. Enter the test material;
   
   1. If language settings are set as "English" the product will appear;
   2. If language settings are set as "Portuguese" or other language than English and Deutsch, it won't.

Inventory management apps rely on product descriptions for search.

It is best practice to provide product descriptions in all languages supported by the system or used by your users.
As a workaround for materials without maintained descriptions, add an equals sign (=) before the material name when searching.
