3747143 - Error "The cluster key is incorrect" occurs while adding a node or updating the data source.

Symptom

  • Received an error during the recreating the existing SIA or creating new SIA at the cluster key step: "The cluster key is incorrect"
  • CMS.exe process is not in running state.
  • Add node failed with the following error entry in the SvcMgr log file:
    "2026 04 01 15:15:02:680|(TransactionManager.cpp:154) DBConnectionHolder - Caught retryable error with Code 229, Msg: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server][SQL Server]The INSERT permission was denied on the object 'CMS_InfoObjects7', database 'sapbobjprod_cms', schema 'dbo'..  Number of retryable errors on connection 1 is 1 "
