  • An error occurs during the upgrade process  to EHP for ERP 6 using Software Update Manager (SUM).
  • Error message: "Error in remote connection to destination SAPOSS: Error when opening an RFC con".
  • Severe error(s) occurred in phase MAIN_TRANSEXEC/SUBMOD_UPSTAT/TR_PATCH_STATUS_UPGRADE.
  • SPAM status could not be updated, rc 1, reason = "Error in remote connection to destination SAPOSS: Error when opening an RFC con".
