3747196 - SUM ABAP update does not apply SPAM/SAINT update despite higher version selected in Maintenance Planner

Symptom

  • During an upgrade with Software Update Manager (SUM) for ABAP, the SPAM/SAINT update selected in Maintenance Planner is not applied. 
  • The upgrade procedure finishes without errors.
  • The SPAM/SAINT version is not updated even though the latest version was selected in Maintenance Planner.
