3747425 - Picklist Fields Show "No Data" and Typeahead Interferes With Manual Typing

• Picklist/dropdown fields across multiple portlets (Personal Information and Job Information) behave incorrectly when users type or edit values manually.
• The typeahead/autocomplete conflicts with manual text entry: values reset, deleted characters reappear, and the field shows a "No Data" state unexpectedly.
• The issue affects all users across browsers and occurs across picklist-type fields in the affected portlets.
• Selecting a value directly from the dropdown works correctly.
• On an empty field showing "No Selection", pressing delete/backspace changes it to "No Data" that cannot be cleared with delete or backspace.

1. Log in to the application.
2. Navigate to an employee record, 
3. Go to any portlet like Personal Information.
4. Click Edit and locate ad field with picklist like the Nationality picklist/dropdown field.
5. On an empty field showing "No Selection", press delete/backspace and observe it changes to "No Data" and cannot be cleared with backspace or delete.

The typeahead/autocomplete dynamically searches the picklist and shows "No Data" when there is no match while navigating backward through typed characters.

1. A product fix is planned; follow reference ECT-271594. The resolution is scheduled with the 2H206 release.
2. Until the fix is available, use one of these temporary workarounds

Workarounds:

• Use the picklist dropdown arrow, or
• Select the whole "No Data" and press delete (Ctrl+A to select all, then Delete)
• Type the string you want to search
