3747610 - "No permission to perform this action” Pay Component Non-recurring – not showing in Latest Edit and History UI - 1H2026

Symptom

  • Enabling the setting “Enable the latest editing and history UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on full profile” causes inconsistent behavior when creating Spot Bonus entries.
  • When the setting is enabled, the PayComponentfield is empty (no values displayed) during Spot Bonus creation.
  • When the setting is disabled, the PayComponent field displays all values correctly.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 1H 2026

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to SF instance
  2. Confirm access user has One-time payment (also Spot Bonus) edit permission AND One-Time Payment Actions Edit permission.
  3. Confirm access user has permission to specific PCNR.
  4. Navigate to target user > summary card > add one-time payment
  5. Observe "No permission to perform this action" under pay component field.
  6. Perform same steps via Take action > works as expected as this retrieves the legacy UI.
