3747716 - Validation for Nationality fields differs between Continue and Submit - Onboarding

While performing Onboarding steps, the Nationality fields are not validated when submit button is clicked, only when Continue button is clicked.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

1. Candidate enters "Nationality" field
2. "Second Nationality" is not provided initially.
3. Candidate clicks "Continue" → system allows the step to proceed.
4. After completion of the last section, candidates returns to personal information and add the same Nationality to Second Nationality field.
5. Candidate directly clicks "Submit."
6. System allows submission without any validation error.

Known issue

Engineering Team is working on a fix which does not have an ETA yet.

As a workaround, create a validation onSave business rule as per below:

NOTE : if you enabled third nationality as well then modify the rule accordingly.
