How to add a custom subnode within the Manage Global Hierarchies app?

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Manage Global Hierarchies app.
2. Select a non-active hierarchy from Hierarchy List and open it.
3. Click in the "Edit" bottom.
4. Click in the plus sign (+) in the node you want to add a subnode.
5. Select the "Subnode" checkbox and define an ID and a Description custom name.
6. Save it.

Considerations:

• It is not possible to add a subnode if the Hierarchy is active.
• For any node in a Financial Statement Version, its children can have only one type. This means it is not possible to add a subnode within a subnode.

Note : Deletion of special Nodes - 3, 4 and 5 are not possible in Financial Statement Version.
