3747832 - Sales order creation error by SOAP API: "The Source Party internal ID must be provided in the source data"

When creating a sales order via SOAP API ORDERREQUEST_IN, the interface returns the error: "The Source Party internal ID must be provided in the source data".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Send a POST request to the SOAP API ORDERREQUEST_IN to create a sales order.
2. Observe the error: "The Source Party internal ID must be provided in the source data".

The necessary field "Internal ID" of the sender party is not identical to the business partner's ID in the system.

Change the "Internal ID" of sender party in the sender party to match the business partner ID.
