Symptom

  • Connectivity issue occurs when attempting to connect from Cloud Integration to an external kafka broker using the kafka adapter.
  • Connectivity test shows the below error:
    java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: org.apache.kafka.common.errors.TimeoutException: Timed out waiting for a node assignment. Call: listTopics Cause: org.apache.kafka.common.errors.TimeoutException: Timed out waiting for a node assignment. Call: listTopics
