3747929 - SAP Cloud Connector - sftp test connectivity via cloud connector fails with "socks5 command failed with status: forbidden"

Symptom

  • sFTP connection via Cloud Connector is not established when testing connectivity from Integration Suite.
  • Error shown in Test Connectivity: java.net.SocketException: SOCKS5 command failed with status: FORBIDDEN.
  • Cloud Connector shows green/healthy status, but the Integration Suite test fails.
  • Additional errors observed during analysis:
  • com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Session.connect: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out.
  • java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
