3747983 - To-Do Card Header Not Reflecting Email Subject When Using Document Generation Template for EC Alert

Symptom

  • When using Document Generation Template to generate the content for the To-do alert - the header for the alert To-do is not as per the Subject mentioned in Document generation template.
  • The content of the To-do alert is correct.
  • The issue occurs when the locale of the Document Generation Template is Korean, when the locale is English - the issue does not occur.
  • In the Alert email, both the header and content are correct as per the Document Generation Template.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - EC Alerts

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Document Generation Group and Template for Korean locale.
  2. Assign the respective Document Generation Group to the corresponding Alert message.
  3. Add approvers in the Alert workflow so that they receive the To-do Alert.
  4. Make the necessary changes to the affected user's data.
  5. Run the EC Alerts and Notifications job.
  6. The approver receives the To-do Alert on the homepage but the Header is not correct as maintained in Document Generation Template.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution. The tentative timeline is 2H2026 currently.
