3748049 - Unable to deactivate tag in Talent Intelligence Hub

Symptom

Upon trying to change status of tag from active to inactive, system does not allow: "The status of the tag couldn’t be changed"

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Talent Intelligence Hub.
  2. Select Tags.
  3. Search for the target tag.
  4. Click the Change Status button.
  5. Select Inactive.
  6. The system displays: "The status of the tag couldn’t be changed."

Cause

Expected behavior.

The tag is associated with one or more attributes. As per current design, tags that are mapped to attributes cannot be deactivated.

Resolution

Remove tag from attributes in TIH. Once tag is removed from all attributes, deactivation is possible.
