3748078 - Latest Editing and History UI Compensation Information: mandatory asterisk not shown for event/pay component 1H 2026

• In the Compensation Information edit UI, the mandatory (red *) indicator is not displayed for the Event field even though it is configured as required.
• The mandatory (red *) indicator is not displayed for the Pay Component field even though it is configured as required.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

1. Navigate to a user’s profile in the Latest People Profile.
2. Open the Compensation Information card and start editing using the Latest Editing and History UI.
3. Observe that the Event field does not show the red * indicator despite being mandatory.
4. Add a Pay Component and observe that Pay Component does not initially show the red * indicator; dependent fields may only display as required after a Pay Component is selected.

This is a Known Issue.

The issue will be fixed via patch PTCH-50071 (1H2026P6) which is scheduled on 26th May 2026 in Preview and 28th May 2026 in Production environments
