3748151 - In App Upload General Journal Entries the cost center is not recognized or shows 0 for some line items – SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition

When uploading a file in App Upload General Journal Entries (F2548) the cost center is not recognized for some line items and the cost center value is showing 0. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the App Upload General Journal Entries (F2548).
2. Upload the journal entry template file.
3. Observe that some lines show cost center as 0 or not recognized and the upload returns errors.

The cost center cells in the template are formatted as Date which causes the cost center to be interpreted as 0 or not recognized during upload.

1. Open the upload file.
2. Select the cost center column (for example, column K in the standard template).
3. Change the cell format from Date to General for all rows in this column.
4. Save the file.
5. Re-upload the corrected file in the app Upload General Journal Entries and verify that the cost centers are recognized.
