3748155 - It is not Possible to Create the Code List Restriction to Restrict the Sales Phase Code for an Opportunity Entity

Symptom

The Code to Restrict do not have the drop-down option as Sales Phase Code, when creating the Code List Restriction for an Opportunity entity.

Environment

  • SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2.
  • SAP Sales Cloud Version 2.
  • SAP Service Cloud Version 2. 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the System Settings.
  2. Go to the All Settings and search for Code List Restriction.
  3. Click on + icon to create New Code List Restriction.
  4. In the New Code List Restriction screen, enter an entity as Opportunity and click on the drop-down option of Code to Restrict field.
  5. You do not have option to restrict the Sales Phase Code.

Cause

Currently, we only provided Sales Phase Code as the Control Field, but not under Code to Restrict.

Resolution

This is the current system behavior.
