3748256 - Export to Excel from Work Center Fails With Error ERR_NETWORK_IO_SUSPENDED.

Symptom

  • Attempting to export from the Work Center OWL to Excel fails.
  • Browser error: ERR_NETWORK_IO_SUSPENDED.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer 
  • SAP ByDesign 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the work center and navigate to the OWL (list) view.
  2. Choose Export > Export to Excel.
  3. Observe that the export fails with the stated errors.

Cause

  • Excel export limitation: exporting more than 10,000 records is not supported; export attempts with larger datasets can fail or run into memory/resource issues.

Resolution

  1. Apply filters in the UI to reduce the number of records below 10,000.
  2. Re-run Export > Export to Excel from the OWL.
