3748377 - Process order visible in MD04 but missing in /SAPAPO/RRP3 due to error "pi dummy activities cannot have input/output nodes" in APO/ePPDS

Symptom

  • Process order is created and visible in MD04 in S4HANA or ECC system but does not appear in /SAPAPO/RRP3.
  • Also /SAPAPO/CCR shows “Order does not exist in APO” with message number /SAPAPO/CIF152.
  • /SAPAPO/CPP Postprocessing/logs show “PI dummy activities cannot have input/output nodes” with message number /SAPAPO/OM_ERROR2438, additional 
    error details:
    Return code 315
    Error constant OM_PIDUMMIES_WITH_IONODES
    Error group COM API
