3748381 - POST /analytics/providers/data, /e2e/providers/data, etc return 502 BAD_GATEWAY

Symptom

  • Observing an issue with the SAP Cloud ALM Analytics REST API where one provider works correctly, but another provider returns a gateway error under similar request conditions
  • Request using provider HM_ANALYTICS_DP succeeds (HTTP 200).
  • Request using provider EVENTS fails (HTTP 502 BAD_GATEWAY) with response message:

"Unexpected error, Reason :500 INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR"

  • Error suggests a backend/provider-specific issue rather than a generic authentication or endpoint issue.
