Symptom

  • When adding a cost element group in a hierarchy, the system does not restrict the name length as expected.
  • When creating the cost element group separately, the system raises the error "Group name is invalid" (Message No. USMDZ3276).
  • Users request guidance to have the same validation error raised when the cost element group name length is invalid at hierarchy level.
