3748422 - List Price is Not Populating to Purchase Orders

Symptom

List Price is not being retrieved when creating new Purchase Orders.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Product Portfolio work center.
  2. Go to List Prices view.
  3. Select the filter as "All List Prices".
  4. Search for List Price relevant to Product ABC (ABC refer to Product ID) and Supplier XYZ (XYZ refer to Supplier ID).

A List Price is available for the Product ABC and Supplier XYZ with status as "Released".

  1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
  2. Select new Purchase Order under Common Task.
  3. Maintain Supplier XYZ and add Product ABC as an item.

Price is not fetched for the Product.

Cause

The List price maintained has a Valid From date in the future according to the system time zone(UTC). So there is no active list price to fetch into the Purchase Order. This is the expected system behavior.

Resolution

  1. Go to Product Portfolio work center.
  2. Go to List Prices view.
  3. Select the filter as "All List Prices".
  4. Search for List Price relevant to Product ABC and Supplier XYZ.
  5. Select Edit Button.
  6. If the Valid From date is in the future in the system time zone, adjust it to the current date (or an earlier date) so that the price becomes active.
  7. Select Save button.

List Price is now fetched automatically in the newly created Purchase Orders.
