3748439 - Error: "Syntax error in program" for all inbound documents after Managed Gateway for Spend&Network add-on upgrade

Symptom

After upgrading the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network add-on (ARBCI1/ARBCI2) on SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA, I notice that all inbound documents from SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing (B&I) stop processing simultaneously. In the Web Service Message Monitor (SRT_MONI), all inbound calls show the following error:

Syntax error in program "/1SAI/TAS33A3A43FD09C4E592A40=XT"

In ST22, I find a large number of ABAP short dumps with the following details:

- Runtime Error: `SYNTAX_ERROR`
- ABAP Program: `/1SAI/TAS33A3A43FD09C4E592A40=XT`
- Short Text: `Syntax error in program "/1SAI/TAS33A3A43FD09C4E592A40=XT".`
- Termination in class `CL_PROXY_STYLESHEET_UTILS=====CP`, method `CHECK_TRANSFORMATION`

All inbound document types fail simultaneously while the system was processing documents correctly before the upgrade.
