3748474 - Contact Information “There’s no data yet. Would you like to add a record now?” read only permissions

Symptom

In Latest People Profile, for users without any data maintained in Contact Information portlet, where only view permissions granted to Email Information and Phone Information, the message “There’s no data yet. Would you like to add a record now?” appears without any add button.

The message also appears for Primary Emergency Contact portlet where no edit permission has been granted.

Reproducing the Issue

Log in to SF instance.
Confirm user does not have RBP edit permissions to HR Information > Email Information/Phone Information edit.

Cause

Known defect.

Resolution

This issue will be fixed via code correction, which will be released in 2H2026.
