3748532 - Error: The database system could not be loaded. Make sure that the database client is installed.

Symptom

  • Not able to access the CMC error message: "Could not reach CMS 'hostname:6400'. Specify the correct host and port and check for network issues. (FWM 20030)".
  • ODBC DSN test connection is successful still CMS.exe process is not in running state.
  • While login through CCM: "Unable to log on: Could not connect to server hostname. Please check that the server name is correct, and the server is running".
  • While updating the data source the error shown in screen shot is observed:
