3748573 - Default user preference settings for org chart not applied for some users

The default display preferences configured under “Specify default display settings for users” in the org chart configurations are not applicable to all users.

1. Access the instance
2. Navigate to Org Chart configuration
3. Go to 'Specify default display settings for user.'
4. E. g: 'Set default reporting relationship to display' Direct Reports Only and select Include contingent workers by default.
   
   
   
5. Go to the user's org chart view and observe that the preferences set above are not respected, the page does not open with Display settings already selected for Direct reports only, and Include contingent workers is not selected.

The system stores and honors the last manual preference a user selects in the Org Chart; administrator-configured settings define only the initial default and do not override a user's subsequent changes.

The Org Chart configuration allows administrators to define default display settings (E. g: Direct Reports Only and Include Contingent Workers). These settings determine the initial view presented to users when they first access the Org Chart. Default User Preference Settings for Org Chart | SAP Help Portal 

However, once a user manually changes these display options, the system remembers the user’s last selected preferences. As a result, when the user revisits the Org Chart, the system loads their most recent selection instead of reverting to the configured default.
