3748599 - Initial Surname is Displayed for Service Agent Time Recordings in Time and Expenses OWL

In Projects - Time and Expenses view, filtering by a specific team member shows the current surname for employee time entries and initial surname for service agent time entries despite surname been updated in both Employee and Service Agent master data.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Go to Projects view.
3. Go to Time and Expenses sub-view.
4. Select All items.
5. Choose Advanced filter.
6. Search with ABC in Team Member field (ABC represents the team member name).

The Team Member/Supplier Name column inconsistently displays current surname for X entries and initial surname for Y entries (X represents Employee time recording and Y represents Service Agent time recording).

• Here, the team member act as both Service Agent and Employee. 
• Surname changes are reflected through Employee Master data using validity periods. The updated surname of employee is correctly reflected based on the validity date.
• However, for Service Agents, only the initial surname from Employee Master data is retained, and subsequent surname changes are not passed to the Time and Expenses OWL.
• As a result, Service Agent time entries continue to display the initial surname.

1. This is a known issue. Development team has added it to the backlog for a future release. Once it is released, it will be informed through Product What's New Page.
2. The updated surname for the service agent can be viewed by clicking the hyperlink in the Employee Time Entries.
