3748648 - Unable to Restrict Cost Centers by Company Code in Manage Cost Centers App – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

In the Manage Cost Centers app, unable to restrict or filter cost centers based on a specific company code.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

Restriction type "Cost Center Hierarchies and Company Code  Hierarchies" must be ''not maintained'' when using restrictions on single cost centers by company code.

Resolution

To resolve the issue

  • Ensure that the relevant business catalog "SAP_FIN_BC_OH_MD_CCA_PC" is assigned to the business role.
  • In the business role, navigate to "Maintain Restrictions". Where cost center and company code restrictions are maintained, set the field "Cost Center Hierarchies and Company Code Hierarchies" to "Not Maintained".
