3748660 - Inconsistent File Pattern Matching in SFTP Sender Adapter When Polling Subdirectories in SAP Cloud Integration

In SAP Cloud Integration, the SFTP Sender adapter is configured with Include Subdirectories enabled and uses a file name expression for polling files.

However, file retrieval from subdirectories behaves inconsistently:

• Certain file name patterns do not return files from subdirectories, e.g. *.txt, **.TXT, *?*.txt, *M*.TXT, *135.TXT
• Other patterns work as expected, e.g. *MT*.TXT, *MT940*.txt
• When the directory is changed directly to a specific subfolder, previously failing patterns start working, indicating no SFTP permission or authorization issue
• File extension case sensitivity impacts behavior (uppercase vs lowercase depending on server naming)
• The Change Directories Stepwise option does not resolve the issue
